As CEO of GAM, I’m immensely proud to share the remarkable story of our team’s journey through the first half of 2025. This has been a truly transformative period, marked by an exciting LCP Mid-Season “Cinderella run,” a highly competitive showing at MSI 2025, and our historic debut at the Esports World Cup (EWC). Our Unforgettable 2025 Journey: A Narrative of Resilience and Rise

Our League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) Mid-Season performance was a genuine fairy tale. Despite entering the playoffs as the #4 seed against formidable regional opponents, our team displayed incredible resilience, strategic adaptation, and raw skill. We battled through intense series, ultimately securing a stellar runner-up finish against the reigning champions, CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO). This dramatic ascent from a lower seed to the Grand Finals captivated fans across the region, firmly establishing GAM Esports as a dominant force in the newly formed, Tier 1 LCP.

The impact of our LCP run was undeniable. Our Grand Final showdown against CTBC Flying Oyster drew over 483,000 peak concurrent viewers, marking the highest number ever recorded for a regular seasonal League of Legends event in the Pacific region. Furthermore, our Lower Bracket Final against Talon Esports garnered 375,407 peak viewers, demonstrating the significant pull of GAM Esports in the LCP. This record viewership, an 85% jump over the last split’s peak, clearly validates the power of a combined regional audience and our ability to generate massive fan engagement.

This powerful regional performance earned us a coveted slot at MSI 2025 in Vancouver, Canada. While we finished in the Top 10, our impact was undeniable. We showcased our peak form in a thrilling five-game series against G2 Esports in the Play-In elimination match. This nail-biting encounter, where our strategic depth was on full display, from adapting to G2’s surprising jungle picks to our decisive early-game control with champions like Caitlyn, captured the attention of the global esports community, reaching an astounding 1.13 million peak viewers (excluding Chinese platforms). This made it the most-watched match of the Play-In stage, underscoring the immense global appeal of League of Legends and the drawing power of GAM Esports. Following this impactful showing, I’m thrilled to announce that GAM Esports has risen to #17 on the Global Power Rankings, a direct reflection of our team’s dedication and competitive prowess on the international stage.
