Leaving the US to build in Vietnam
Born in San Diego to Vietnamese parents, TK spent years feeling neither fully American nor fully Vietnamese. In 2014 he left a comfortable life in California on a one-way ticket and built Skylight Nha Trang, Vietnam’s first rooftop beach club. A talk on betting on a place, and on yourself, before the numbers say you should.

What the pandemic taught him about building
In 2020 the industry he had built his life around shut overnight. The reset left one question: if the next generation is watching, what are we building that will shape their future? In April 2021 he took over GAM Esports with his partners. A talk on loss, starting again, and choosing legacy over applause.
