How to play

We spend our days on screens. These cards are for the other part: sitting across from someone and finding out who they are. Make a friend, know your team, go deeper with the people you already love.

    Pick a deck and a level

    Start at Level 1 and climb, or jump straight to the depth you want.

    Put one phone in the middle

    Everyone else puts theirs face down. Draw a card, read it out loud.

  3. 3

    Answer, listen, follow up

    Whoever draws answers first. Anyone can pass, no questions asked.

Four ways to play

Table

One phone in the middle. Take turns drawing; whoever draws answers first, then anyone can jump in. Anyone can pass.

Two of us

Both answer every card. Listen to understand, not to reply. Start at Press Start and climb.

Team

A facilitator draws. Go round the circle. Two minutes each. What's said here stays here.

Host

You ask, they answer, like a podcast. Each card shows a follow-up to dig deeper.

Everyone answers

Draw the next card. Everyone at the table answers it.

Ask a follow-up

Pick anyone who just answered and ask them one more question.

Pass it left

Give your turn to the person on your left. They answer your card.

How deep do the questions go?

Level 1 is light enough for strangers. The top levels ask about fears, failures and purpose. Climb at your own pace, and anyone can pass on any card.

Can I use them on my own podcast or show?
